Integrated Waste Management Facility (OEDA) of Western Attica in the Municipality of Filis.

The OEDA of Western Attica, where all the Solid Waste Management facilities of Attica are located, covers a total area of approximately 2,900 acres.

The Xyta Filis is located at the “Skalisteri” site and is currently being developed into a field of about 1,100 acres, which is part of the OEDA Filis.

It is the only operational landfill in Attica, which has been continuously functioning since 2004, and it is still used for the disposal of municipal solid waste.
